CLEMSON VS MIAMI Live Stream Online Week 14 Clemson Tigers vs Miami Hurricanes Live, IGERS VS HURRICANES Live, ACC Championship online.channel and key info for SATURDAY Live Online, NCAA Football Live.
Miami has had an explosive season, suffering only one loss this season last week to Pitt. The Hurricanes want to be able to rotate their Turnover Chain throughout the defense in their first ever trip to the ACC Championship game. The only thing standing in their way: Defending national champion Clemson. Dabo Swinney is looking for his 101st career win with the Tigers and his team is vying for a third straight ACC title.
When the ACC began a championship game 13 years ago, the conference had visions of the type of game that will be played Saturday night (8:14, ABC) in Charlotte — a top 10 matchup with national championship implications surrounding the game.
While they had one previous matchup between top 10 teams two years ago when the No. 1 Clemson Tigers defeated the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels, UNC was on the outside looking in on the College Football Playoff. However, this season, when the No.1 Clemson Tigers (11-1, 7-1 ACC) take on the No. 7 Miami Hurricanes (10-1, 7-1 ACC) at Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, North Carolina), they will do so with a “win and you are in” scenario in place.
Clemson has three backs with over 600 rushing yards, led by Travis Etienne’s 720. No team in the ACC has more rushing touchdowns than Clemson’s 36. Besides Clemson’s proclivity to run the ball, the Tigers are adept at stopping the run. Clemson houses the ACC’s best run defense, allowing the fewest number of yards and touchdowns in the conference. With the ability to both run the ball and stop the run, Clemson is perfectly set up to control the clock in this title game tilt.
The Hurricanes will have to run the ball better than they did last week in their loss to Pitt. Miami ran for a paltry 45 yards on 23 carries for an anemic 2.0 yards per carry average. Malik Rosier has to become more consistent. Rosier leads the ACC in touchdowns and ranks second in interceptions.
Miami is playing with house money at this point. If the Canes lose to Clemson, a 10-2 season, a Coastal Division title, and a chance to play at home in the Orange Bowl would be a very successful season by any measure. Fans, players, and coaches would’ve been thrilled with that result when the year began.
